Foundry, a Celexly product, is a file converter that runs entirely inside your browser. Your files are never uploaded, collected, or shared. The only time Foundry uses the network is to verify an optional Pro purchase, which never involves your files. All conversion is local, your files never leave your device.
When you add a file to Foundry, it is read into memory and processed by code running in your own browser (Web Workers and WebAssembly that ship inside the extension). The result is offered back to you as a download. Nothing is uploaded anywhere. When you remove an item or close the tab, the file and its result are released from memory.
None from your files. Specifically:
Foundry uses your browser's local storage for a few small preferences only: your theme, the parallel-jobs setting, saved presets, your rename pattern, the dismissed first-run tip, a running "bytes saved" number, and your Pro status. This never includes your files and never leaves your machine. You can clear it at any time from the extension's settings.
Pro is optional. If you choose to upgrade, checkout is handled by ExtensionPay, which uses Stripe for card processing. This is the only feature that contacts the network. It verifies whether you have paid and opens the checkout page. Your files are never part of this and are never sent anywhere. Foundry does not receive or store your card details. The ExtensionPay and Stripe privacy policies apply to the checkout process itself.
Foundry requests storage (for the preferences above) and downloads
(to save your converted files to disk). It requests no broad host access. It includes one content
script that runs only on extensionpay.com, so a completed purchase can unlock Pro.
It runs on no other site.
Disconnect from the internet and every conversion still works. Open your browser's developer
tools, go to the Network tab, and run any conversion. You will see no requests. The only requests
Foundry ever makes are to extensionpay.com, and only if you open the upgrade screen
or check your purchase.
Foundry is a general-audience utility and is not directed at children under 13. It does not knowingly collect information from children.
If this policy changes, the "Last updated" date above will change and the new version will be posted at this URL.
Foundry Pro is a digital product delivered instantly. Because access is granted immediately upon purchase, all purchases are final and non-refundable, except where a refund is required by applicable law. Before purchasing, the free plan lets you use Foundry's core tools so you can decide whether Pro is right for you.
You can cancel your subscription at any time to stop all future billing. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period: you keep Pro until that period ends, and you are not charged again. Cancelling does not refund the current or any past billing period, it simply stops the next renewal. We do not offer prorated or partial refunds for unused time.
The Lifetime plan is a single, one-time payment that grants Pro forever. It is non-refundable. There is nothing to cancel, and it never expires or renews.
Open the plan screen in Foundry and choose "Restore purchase or manage subscription", or manage your subscription directly through the ExtensionPay portal linked from your purchase confirmation email. Cancelling stops the next charge immediately.
This policy covers voluntary refund requests only. If you were charged in error, for example a duplicate charge or a charge after a confirmed cancellation, contact us and we will investigate and correct genuine billing errors.
Nothing in this policy removes any refund or cancellation right you have under the consumer law that applies where you live, and where such a right applies it overrides this policy.
